Single-donor hand-tied weft sets at this level typically represent an investment of $5,000–$10,000 USD in the US market. What most clients do not see is how many distinct layers of work assemble into that figure:

• Quality inspection and selection — physical assessment of every ponytail before acceptance
• Individual colour matching — targeted sourcing to the specific client's hair profile
• Cleaning and preparation — each ponytail prepared before production begins
• Hand-tied weft production — 25–50 hours of skilled atelier hand-work per set
• Custom configuration — each weft sized and structured to the client's specific requirements
• Shipping from collector to atelier — international transport of raw hair
• Import duties and customs clearance — unavoidable for internationally sourced material
• Insured express delivery to client — DHL Express, 5–7 business days from Europe to the US
• Professional installation
• Aftercare support — ongoing guidance on maintenance and care routines

None of these are optional. The price is the sum of what it actually takes to do this correctly, from source to scalp.

The Investment Logic Over Time

In a bonding-based system, each reinstallation cycle affects the usable length of the hair. Replacement sets are purchased periodically. Appointment costs accumulate. The investment depletes steadily. In the Braided Base hand-tied weft system, you invest once. The same wefts are maintained, repositioned as the natural hair grows, and reinstalled — without loss of length, without replacement. After five to seven years of proper care, those wefts may still be in active, wearable condition. The upfront figure is higher. The total cost of ownership tells a different story.
